Auburn Star Shines

Playing just down the highway from his old high school, Auburn’s Dameyune Craig closed his college career with two touchdown passes to lead the South to a 31-8 victory in the Senior Bowl in Mobile, Ala.

Craig led three scoring drives and capped the last two with nice play-action fakes that led to short touchdown passes. He finished 8 for 15 for 109 yards, was named the game’s MVP and boosted his status with NFL scouts.

Florida’s Fred Weary also impressed, returning an interception 97 yards for a touchdown to give the South a 17-0 lead before halftime. xxxx
