Former Cda Kicker Chooses UI
Former Coeur d’Alene High School placekicker Ben Davis has orally committed to play football for the University of Idaho.
“They offered a full ride and I’d kind of like to go there anyway because they’re Division I now and they’re playing teams like Washington State and Louisiana State,” said Davis.
Davis played at Ricks College last season.
Davis connected on a 62-yard field goal last year and was third in the NJCAA with 73 points.
He was selected to the All-Western States Football League first team.
Idaho’s Troy Scott graduated after making 12 of 26 field goals and had four field goals blocked.
He was 32 of 34 on PATs.
