VHMC is first rate!

I would like to let every fellow Valley resident know how very fortunate we are.

I have had two occasions recently to sing the praises of personnel at Valley Hospital and Medical Center.

A few weeks ago, my husband had a very serious hand injury, having put his hand into a post-hole auger while building a fence at home. The emergency room people could not have been any kinder, quicker, or any more efficient.

They kept us informed and calm through every step.

The work that the emergency room doctor did saved him from further surgery by the plastic surgeon, who was quite impressed.

This last week, my mother had a massive stroke and 911 was called.

The Valley Fire Deptartment was excellent. They responded very quickly. A fireman sat with my dad and explained everything they were doing and kept him calm.

Again the emergency room and ICU personnel at the hospital were outstanding. They had answers for us very quickly, kept us totally informed, and treated us and my mother with great respect and dignity. We lost my mother, but I will forever be in debt to all of those who helped us through.
