Clam Up Next Week

Shellfish season

Some coastal beaches will open for razor clam digging on Friday and Saturday. Beaches open for the p.m. tides on those two dates are Long Beach, Twin Harbors and Mocrocks, the beach from Copalis River north to the southern boundary of the Quinault Indian Reservation.

Razor clam diggers ages 15-69 need a $5 1998 shellfish license. Senior licenses cost $3. The daily limit is the first 15 clams dug, regardless of size or condition. , DataTimes
