Downtown Motel Robbed For Second Time This Week

A downtown motel has suffered its second robbery in five days.

A black man with a small silver handgun robbed the Suntree 8 Inn at 123 S. Post St. Saturday night, escaping with an undisclosed amount of cash, police officials said. He was last seen running south on Post just before 9 p.m. Witnesses described him as 5 feet 9 inches and about 200 pounds, with a mustache and a black jacket.

A black man with similar characteristics, who also was wearing a black jacket, robbed the same motel Tuesday night and escaped with a bag of cash. , DataTimes
