Felons Arrested After Guns Found
Two traffic stops by Spokane police over the weekend netted two felons with loaded handguns, a police spokesman said.
Andy Hildreth, 22, was arrested during a routine traffic stop about 3 a.m. Sunday. Police found a fully loaded semiautomatic 9mm pistol in the car with Hildreth. He has several felony convictions including assault and drug possession. He was booked into jail for unlawful possession of a firearm.
In another traffic stop four hours earlier, police arrested 23-year-old Gary Mason for unlawful possession of a handgun.
