Fine shooting has given Garfield-Palouse another shot at the Whitman County League title.

Brad Bischoff scored 23, hitting 8 of 10 from the floor and 7 of 8 from the free-throw line, as the Vikings (11-4, 5-1) topped visiting St. John-Endicott 49-40 Saturday to tie for the league lead.

Gar-Pal hit 15 of its 20 free throws while SJE (11-4, 5-1) finished 4 of 15. The Eagles had won eight consecutive games.
