Lemay-Doan, Bos Win Races

Canada’s Catrioa LeMay-Doan and Dutchman Jan Bos won world titles at the World Speedskating Championships, the final event before the Olympics.

LeMay-Doan ruled the women’s 500-meter race for the second straight day, enhancing her position as the favorite at Nagano.

Bos won the men’s 1,000 for the second consecutive day, blazing to a world championship record time of 1 minute, 11.10 seconds. He also won Saturday’s 500.
