Bullets Damage Car, Valley Apartments

From Staff And Wire Reports

Gunfire damaged a vehicle and several Spokane Valley apartments in an early morning drive-by shooting Monday, Spokane County sheriff’s deputies said.

Six to 10 gunshots were fired about 6:30 a.m. at the Meadow Ridge Apartments, 12400 E. Mansfield, deputies said.

Most of the bullets went through a 1988 Oldsmobile Cutlass parked on the street and hit four nearby apartments, deputies said. No one was injured.

Two of the four apartments were unoccupied. A bullet burst a water pipe in one apartment.

Deputies believe a rifle was used. No arrests had been made by late Monday, but the investigation continues. , DataTimes
