Councilman Higgins ‘Resting Comfortably’
Spokane City Councilman Rob Higgins was “resting comfortably” Monday evening after an operation to remove a tumor from his brain, a council colleague said.
“The operation was successful,” Councilman Jeff Colliton said after talking with Higgins’ family. The doctors “think they got it all and all indications are it was benign.”
Colliton said Higgins would spend Monday night in intensive care recovering from the 3-1/2 hour surgery.
Higgins is expected to be in the hospital about a week. He plans to be away from the council at least two weeks and possibly a month. , DataTimes
