Plum Creek Shuffles Top Executive Ranks

Plum Creek Timber Co., L.P. has named Michael J. Covey, the company’s former general manager of the Rocky Mountain timber lands, as vice president of resources.

Covey will have operating responsibility for 1.6 million acres in the Rocky Mountain Region and 310,000 acres in the Cascades Region.

The company also said William R. Brown, former vice president of resource management, will become vice president of strategic business development.

Plum Creek is an integrated forest products company with timberlands and mills located in the Northwest and Southeast. , DataTimes
