Gunman Holds Up Downtown Store

From Staff And Wire Reports

A man described as having “bulging eyes” robbed a downtown Spokane business shortly after 5 p.m. Monday, according to police.

St. Vinnie’s Closet at 527 W. Riverside had closed for the day and a female employee was counting money when the robber appeared from the rear of the store, police said.

The employee said the man had a handgun and threatened to hurt her if she didn’t hand over the cash.

She described him as white, about 30 years old, 5 feet 7 inches tall and stocky. He had blond hair in a pony tail.
