Burglars Strike Rodriguez Again

Associated Press

Seattle Mariners shortstop Alex Rodriguez’s Miami house was burglarized for the second time in the last two months.

Someone broke into Rodriguez’s suburban home Wednesday, stealing $43,000 worth of Giorgio Armani clothes, including six suits and a cashmere trench coat, two Rolex watches, three bottles of Remy Martin cognac worth $1,270 each, $2,500 in cigars, baseballs and $25,000 in cash, The Miami Herald reported.

The burglary followed one during the holidays, in which several items of memorabilia, including Rodriguez’ 1996 All Star Game jersey, were stolen.
