Commissioner In Satisfactory Condition

Lincoln County Commissioner Bill Graedel was in satisfactory condition Wednesday at Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane, recovering from injuries suffered in a one-car crash.

Graedel was initially in intensive care with five broken ribs and a punctured lung.

He was hurt when his county car slid on ice and struck a telephone pole on Rosenoff Road in Adams County, about eight miles west of Ritzville.

The accident occurred about 8 a.m. Jan. 22 while Graedel was traveling from his home in Odessa to Ritzville for a Northwest Council of Governments meeting. , DataTimes
