Residents To Vote On Forming West End Neighborhood Council
The Davenport Arts District will convene a final meeting this week to vote on forming the West End Neighborhood Council.
Neighborhood residents, led by the Arts District, have met three times since last October to discuss establishing the council.
The council boundaries would include downtown Spokane from Riverside and Main on the north end, Sunset Boulevard on the west, Howard from Main to Second Avenue on the east, and Interstate 90 from Howard to the viaduct on the south.
Downtown residents and business owners are invited to the meeting, which will run from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. tonight at the Rodeway Inn Motel on the corner of First and Lincoln Avenues.
