Special Guest To Speak At Peace Lutheran

Prince of Peace Lutheran Church will host special guest speaker Rev. Richard Rouse during this weekend’s worship services. Rouse will preach at the 5:30 p.m. worship service on Saturday and at the 8:30 and 11 a.m. services on Sunday.

Rouse will also teach the adult education class at 9:45 a.m. on Sunday. His talk is titled “Lutheran Higher Education… from Luther and the Reformation to the Present Day.”

Young singers wanted

Audubon Park United Methodist Church, 3908 N. Driscoll Blvd., is searching for children to perform in its children’s choir. The choir is open to all children age 5 through the sixth grade. The first practice for the new choir will be at 10:30 a.m. on Feb. 8.

The choir will meet for practice from 10:30 to 11 a.m. on the second and third Sundays of each month. The children will perform during worship services on the fourth Sunday of each month.
