Three Killed In Head-On Crash
A man and two women were killed Wednesday when their small car collided head-on with a truck.
The accident happened about 8:20 a.m. on the 16th Avenue Bridge over the Duwamish River, just west of Boeing Field.
It appeared a car that strayed across the center line may have hit the victims’ Toyota as it moved back into the proper lane, knocking the Toyota into the oncoming truck, police Lt. Dave Haynes said. The driver of the other car was questioned.
The three victims, whose names were not immediately released, died at the scene.
No one else was injured.
