Weather Warnings Issued For Area

Severe weather hit the Inland Northwest late Friday with damaging winds and heavy rains expected throughout Eastern Washington and North Idaho.

A tornado warning was in effect for Adams County until 10:15 p.m. and for northern Spokane County until midnight. A severe thunderstorm warning with winds gusting from 30 mph to 50 mph was in effect for Lincoln and Spokane counties from 9:30 until 10:35 p.m.

Residents were told to take cover and stay away from any outside windows.
