1 Restaurant, 2 Men Robbed

A restaurant, a man walking to his car and another man walking downtown were all robbed on Saturday.

The Szechuan Restaurant at 6508 N. Division was robbed about 6 p.m., when a man at the cash register and displayed a handgun. He took some money and ran. The man had eaten at the restaurant before robbing it.

A K-9 and handler found a black T-shirt the robber wore, but the track ended there.

The man was described as white, in his early 30s, about 5 feet 7 inches tall, slender build with short, light brown hair and cleanshaven.

Just before 10 p.m. a man walking to his car in the parking lot of the DoubleTree Hotel City Center at 332 N. Spokane Falls Court was robbed. The robber displayed a handgun and demanded money. He then ran toward the Spokane River. He was described as white, in his 30s and about 6 feet tall and 190 pounds.

The third robbery occurred around 11 p.m. when a man walking on the 900 block of West Main was approached by a man and a woman.

The man struck the victim in the chest, took his wallet, demanded the PIN number to the victim’s bank card and then ran away with the woman.

The man was described as black, in his 20s, about 6 feet tall and 150 pounds. The woman was described only as Hispanic.
