Fire Damages Combine, Building

A farm combine and the building it was housed in near Rockford were seriously damaged by fire Tuesday, Spokane fire officials said.

Firefighters were called to the fire at Baker and Marsh roads, off state Highway 27, about 7:40 p.m. They found the combine engulfed in flames, officials said.

No other details were available late Tuesday.
