Cheney Methodist Plans Bible School

Cheney United Methodist Church will host a Space Mission Bible Camp Aug. 10-14. Kids are invited to play games, sing songs, make crafts and learn Bible lessons.

Classes will run from 5:15 to 8:30 p.m. Each evening will also include a closing drama presentation.

Heritage breakfast will be Saturday

Heritage Congregational Church, 1801 E. 29th, will host a breakfast fund-raiser Saturday from 8 to 11 a.m.

The church’s board of Christian education will serve up pancakes, sausage, bacon and scrambled eggs.

The cost is $5 for a full breakfast, $3.50 for a limited breakfast (coffee and pancakes only), and $2.50 for kids under age 10.

Proceeds will be used to fund various youth group activities.
