3 Churches Offering Joint Bible School
Three Orthodox churches in the area will come together to offer a joint vacation Bible school Aug. 10-14. The children of St. Nicholas Orthodox Church and St. John the Baptist Orthodox Church will go to Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church for a week of learning and fun.
Classes will run from 8:45 a.m. to noon each day. All children in grades kindergarten to sixth are invited to attend. The children will study Bible stories, make arts and crafts, and play games. Puppet shows and skits will round out the activities.

Family Bible week at St. Matthew’s
St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church, 6905 N. Country Homes Blvd., will host a Family Bible Week this week. Classes will run from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Sunday through Aug. 6. The theme of this year’s event is “Jesus Lights the Way.”
All members of the family from age 3 through adults are invited to participate. Classes will include age-appropriate Bible stories, music and art. Snacks will be served.
Classes are free, but donations will be accepted to help pay expenses. For more information, call the church office at 326-3766.
Family workshop on Sunday
The Church of Divine Man, 2803 N. Lincoln, will host a family workshop Sunday at 1 p.m. The workshop will focus on techniques for relating with your family on a spiritual level.
