Comic actor Phil Hartman and his wife, Brynn, left their estate estimated at $1.23 million to their two orphaned children, according to the couple’s nearly identical wills filed Tuesday. The papers indicate that the Hartmans placed a high premium on education. The couple stated in their wills that the children Sean, 9, and Birgen Anika, 6 cannot begin to receive final distribution of their inheritance until they graduate from college or reach age 25. The children will be raised by Brynn Hartman’s sister Katharine Wright and her husband, Mike, of Eau Claire, Wis., who are the guardians. Phil Hartman, 49, was shot to death last week in his Encino, Calif., home apparently by Brynn Hartman, 40, who later committed suicide.
