Branch Bank In Hillyard Robbed

A man robbed a U.S. Bank branch in Spokane’s Hillyard neighborhood on Monday, authorities said.

Witnesses said the bandit walked into the branch at 5101 N. Market about 11:50 a.m. He told a teller he had a gun and demanded money. The robber then grabbed some cash and ran away.

The man was described as a black man in his 20s, about 6 feet tall and 180 pounds. He had a goatee and was wearing a beret with two white stripes on it.
