Pair Arrested In Valley Traffic Stop

A suspended license stop led to a drug arrest Saturday night.

Sheriff’s deputies saw a woman they believed to have a suspended license driving east on Appleway near Barker just before 8 p.m., according to police reports.

Deputies arrested Sandra L. Moore, 34, of 16502 E. Appleway, for driving with a suspended license.

During the stop, officers asked a passenger to step outside the vehicle. On the floor on the passenger’s side, deputies found a metal container with baggies and suspected drugs.

They arrested John F. Blomquist, 34, 2307 W. Boone, for possession of a controlled substance.
