Give Scouts a try

This year, the Scout-o-Rama was on June 6 at the Fairgrounds.

There were Scouts from all over Spokane.

Every Cub Pack and Scout Troop did something different.

There were a lot of activities, like fishing from a big swimming pool.

Some troops were cooking food that people could taste, and others had obstacle courses.

It was fun.

I’m a Boy Scout in Troops 485 in the Spokane Valley.

Scouting is a great program for all kids.

I’ve been in Scouts since the first grade. Now that I’m in Boy Scouts, I go camping and hiking.

I’m getting a lot of experience learning about the outdoors.

I would recommend Scouting for all kids.

I’m also on a baseball and a basketball team. So, kids can be in Scouts even though they are on sports teams. Michael Hernandez First Class Scout, Age 12, Spokane
