Target Stores Donate To Program For Kids
Spokane-area Target stores have donated $1,200 to a program that provides activities for children.
The stores turned the money over to the Spokane Regional Public Safety Activities League on Friday.
The cash will be used to refurbish bicycles for kids who participate in the league. The bikes will be used for summer rides and for a trip to the Canadian border later this year.
The league, which also provides programs like judo, archery and bowling, is sponsored by the Spokane police and sheriff’s departments and other law enforcement agencies in Eastern Washington.
