A total of 46 air quality complaints were reported to the Spokane County Air Pollution Control Authority between June 9 and June 18.

The greatest number of complaints were reported at Colbert Compost Facility and regarded odors from compost.

June 8

Dust from sewer project was reported at 1400 S. Pierce Road at 12:55 p.m.

Smoke from SFHD was reported at 5704 E. Chattaroy Road at 1:00 p.m.

June 9

Black smoke from furnace was reported at Kaiser Mead Plant at 8:45 a.m.

Burning garbage was reported at 517 N. Stevens, Deer Park, at 10:30 a.m.

Demolition of gas station was reported at 7415 E. Sprague.

Smokey sky was reported in airport area at 11:35 p.m.

Asbestos removal was reported at Industrial Park at 12:40 p.m.

Dust from construction was reported at Fourth and Bowdish at 3:37 p.m.

Burning cardboard was reported at 10:15 a.m.

Burning insulation was reported, no address given, at 2:50 p.m.

June 11

Dust from private road was reported at 12407 E. 16th at 8:05 a.m.

Open burning was reported at 15827 N. Dover at 11:52 a.m.

Dust from construction was reported at 4800 E. Buckeye at 2:00 p.m.

Open burning was reported at 1517 W. York at 11:35 a.m.

Black smoke on weekend was reported at Kaiser Mead at 9:30 a.m.

Burning garbage was reported at 3908 E. Bridgeport at 4:16 p.m.

Odor from roasting coffee was reported at Four Seasons Coffee downtown at 8:55 a.m.
