Man Grabs Cash From Spokane Store

From Staff Reports

A man robbed a north Spokane convenience store Thursday, police said.

A clerk at the Exxon at 901 E. Sharp said a man entered the store about 12:45 a.m. and asked for change for a dollar.

When the woman opened the cash register, the bandit pulled a ski mask over his face, told her he had a gun and threatened to kill her, police said.

The robber then grabbed some cash, stuffed it in a sack and walked south on Hamilton.

The clerk said the man was white, about 30 to 35 years old, 5 feet 7 inches tall and thin.

Anyone with information on the robbery is asked to call Crime Check at 456-2233.
