Police Seek Convenience Store Robber

Police are looking for a man who robbed a convenience store near downtown Thursday night.

The man walked into the Shamrock Gas ‘n Grocery, 932 W. Third Ave., at about 9:30 p.m., police said. He threatened to stab the clerk with a long-bladed knife by holding it above his head.

The man took some cash and ran out of the store. He is described as black, about 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighing 180 pounds.
