The council will discuss modifying the pulltab/ punchboard tax.

Spokane County Commission

Tuesday, 11 a.m., bid opening, Public Works Building, 1026 W. Broadway Ave.

2 p.m. weekly meeting The commissioners will appropriate $75,000 in federal grant money for additional law enforcement.

Spokane County Air Pollution Control Agency

Thursday, 9 a.m. board meeting, lower level hearing room, Spokane County Public Works Building, 1026 W. Broadway.

The board will discuss an interagency agreement with STA and support for a mediated agreement on waste incineration.

Spokane County Library District

Thursday, 7:30 a.m. special meeting, Perkins Family Restaurant, 12 E. Olive Ave.

Action will be limited to authorizing bid solicitation for construction of the new Deer Park Library.

Spokane Regional Solid Waste System Liaison Board

Tuesday, 1:30 p.m., fifth floor conference room, City Hall, 808 W. Spokane Falls Blvd.

Results of mediation with state Department of Ecology will be discussed, along with litter control and an update of the comprehensive solid waste management plan.

Washington State Shoreline Hearings Panel

Monday, 10 a.m., the S&T building, just south of the County Courthouse.

An appeal to stall proposed improvements to Liberty Lake’s only public boat launch will be heard.
