Dollar Falls Against Yen And Mark

The dollar continued its slide against the yen Monday as yet another Japanese official speculated aloud about stronger efforts to spark Japan’s economy, talk that pushed both the yen and Japan’s stock market higher.

After falling against the mark largely on German politics, the dollar struggled back to just under Friday’s close, fueled by strong U.S. economic data.
