Fugitive May Be Staying In Spokane

From Staff And Wire Reports

Authorities believe a man who escaped from the Pend Oreille County Jail last Oct. 30 may be staying in Spokane.

Ryan “Todd” Todd, 24, was last seen Jan. 29 when sheriff’s officers raided a methamphetamine lab and bomb factory that his brother allegedly operated at his rural home near Newport, Wash. Todd got away on a stolen snowmobile, authorities said.

Months earlier, he escaped from the county jail by climbing over the exercise yard fence while a guard was sidetracked with other business.

Todd was being held on two warrants. A Spokane County warrant charges him with being a felon in possession of a firearm and possessing a controlled substance, while a Pend Oreille County warrant accuses him of failing to pay child support.

Todd is described as 5 feet 8, 150 pounds, hazel eyes, brown hair, with a surgical scar on his left knee. Authorities say he had long hair that may now be short, possibly with a ponytail.
