Strip Club Owner Jailed For Child Porn Video

The owner of a strip club has been sentenced to one month in jail and a month of community service for owning a sexually explicit videotape of a minor.

Prosecutors said Lisa Webber, who was sentenced Wednesday in Benton County Superior Court, unwittingly hired an underage dancer for her Kennewick business, then videotaped the dancer for prospective clients.

Prosecutors allege Webber, 28, had the video in her possession even after she learned the girl’s true age.

Under state law, making or owning a sexually explicit video of a minor is illegal.

In arguing for leniency, Webber’s lawyer, Norma Rodriguez, told Judge Vic VanderSchoor that her client immediately fired the 17-year-old when the girl’s mother disclosed the dancer’s age.

But Webber forgot to get rid of the tape, Rodriguez said.

Police found the tape during a search of Webber’s home.
