Ewu School Gets Stamp Of Approval

The nation’s leading review board for business schools has recommended reaccreditation of Eastern Washington University’s College of Business and Public Administration, officials said Friday.

The International Association for Management Education said it will give the business school its stamp of approval for another 10 years.

The designation strengthens the resume of nearly 1,700 students in business and urban and regional planning, said college dean John Schleede. Eastern’s business school is located at the downtown Riverpoint Higher Education Park.

Only 330 of the nation’s 3,500 business schools and business degree programs - including Washington State University and University of Washington - are accredited by the review board, Schleede said. Others often get accredited by regional boards. , DataTimes
