Whitman County Levies Passing

Special levies in Whitman County passed with overwhelming support Tuesday.

Proposals in Palouse, Colton, Garfield, Rosalia, Oakesdale, Steptoe, Tekoa and Lamont all passed.

Only One measure failed. The Town of Rosalia’s $35,000 Proposition 2, which would have defrayed the costs of street repair, only mustered 54 percent of the 60 percent needed.
