Toy Cars Lead To Man’s Arrest

A 5-pack of HotWheels toy cars led to a felony arrest at a Valley Target store Friday, sheriff’s deputies said.

Deputies arrested 31-year-old Stanley W. Williams, 311 N. Greenacres Road, at the Target store at 13724 E. Sprague for possession of drugs for which he had no prescription.

A store security officer stopped the suspect after seeing him conceal a $2.99 package of toy cars in his clothes, sheriff’s deputies said.

After confronting him, the officer noticed the suspect had a bottle containing various pills, including codeine and Flexeril.
