Washington Utilities and Transportation Commission

During a two-part hearing, Burlington Northern Sante Fe Railroad will discuss plans to add a second rail line adjacent to its existing tracks in eastern Spokane Valley. The hearing was ordered after Spokane County officials expressed concerns about traffic delays and safety. BNSF will present its case at the afternoon session; public comments will be heard during the evening session.
