Lc Picks Mary Signer As Its Lilac Princess

The 10th Lilac Festival princess was chosen Tuesday night.

Mary Signer, a Lewis and Clark senior, will represent her school. She is the daughter of Steve and Vicki Signer.

Signer, 18, is ASB president, has participated in Evergreen Girls State, track, cheerleading and National Honor Society. She has volunteered for City Gate homeless shelter, Salvation Army and Spokane Food Bank.

She plans to attend school in Charlotte, N.C., for two years before transferring to the University of Washington.

One of the Lilac princesses will be named queen April 18 at Ferris High School. , DataTimes
