Alzheimer’s Group Sponsors Contest

A birdhouse contest is under way to raise money for Alzheimer’s disease support services.

The Alzheimer’s Association’s Northern Idaho Chapter is sponsoring the annual contest. The deadline for birdhouses to be built is April 15, and they’ll be judged May 1.

The houses become the property of the chapter and will be sold or raffled off to raise funds for services to families and caregivers of Alzheimer’s patients.

The contest has five categories for birdhouses. For more information, call 664-5681 or (800) 438-0641.
