Vandals Attack Trucks At Construction Lot

From Staff And Wire Reports

Vandals broke windows on trucks and tractors parked at a construction company and poured gravel into the gas tank of a road grader.

Rocks thrown at the equipment broke windows on 10 vehicles parked in three separate lots at Interstate Asphalt on Kathleen Avenue, according to a police report. Workers, who discovered the vandalism Monday morning, told police dirt and gravel were dumped into a 1989 Caterpillar Grader.

Several tools also were stolen from a pickup during the weekend vandalism spree.

Estimates of the damaged and stolen equipment were not available.
