Article refreshing

What a refreshing article (“14-year-old archer conquers buck fever,” Valley Voice, March 7) and a far sight from the recent front-page headlines.

Families like the Garrs should be commended for their interests in their children’s lives.

Outdoor interests such as archery, fishing, hunting and horsemanship have a true reflection on a child’s personality and future outlok.
