Sasquatch Take Two To Claim Second Seed

Community Colleges of Spokane rallied for a pair NCIC softball victories over Bellevue Saturday at Spokane Falls CC.

The wins give the Sasquatch the No. 2 seed heading into the conference tournament.

CCS won the opener 6-5, rallying from a 3-2 deficit with a three-run fourth inning. Holly Vanwert’s two-run double was the deciding hit.

The Sasquatch scored a pair of unearned runs in the bottom of the seventh inning to take the nightcap 3-2. Winner Tory Mills scattered five hits, allowing only one after the second inning.
