Bomb Squad Gets False Alarm
Spokane bomb squad technicians were called to a warehouse store Monday after someone found what were thought to be explosives, police said.
A person in the parking lot of Costco, 800 E. Third Ave., spotted several wires sticking out of a hole near the west side of the lot at 5:51 p.m. Monday, police said.
The store was not evacuated, police said.
Technicians said the wires were not attached to anything and believed that the devices were left by work crews that had been doing blasting work in the area, police said.
