Dixie Turns Back Csi In Regional Title Game

Dixie, the second seed from the South Division, defeated host College of Southern Idaho 4-1 to win the Region 18 title Saturday in Twin Falls.

Dixie went 4-0 in the tournament, including an earlier 10-5 win over CSI, the No. 1 seed from the North. Dixie advances to a bi-regional matchup with the Arizona regional champ. The winner of that three-game series moves on to the NJCAA tournament in Grand Junction, Colo.

CSI finished 3-2 in the tourney. Treasure Valley was 1-2. Its one win eliminated South No. 1 Utah Valley. Ricks went 0-2.
