Police Arrest Brick-Thrower

Sheriff’s deputies arrested a woman for first degree malicious mischief after a man reported his ex-girlfriend had started throwing bricks through his windows.

Eileen Steffen, 41, who said she lives at 1106 S. Walnut, was arrested just before 9 p.m. Saturday.

Deputies responded to a call from a home in the 8200 block of East Valleyway. They found the man and his ex-wife at the house.

The man told police that another woman, his ex-girlfriend, had come to the house to talk. Before leaving, the man said, she threw bricks through his bedroom window, front room window and the front and rear windows of his car.

Deputies made the arrest about four blocks from the home.
