Forest Closing Road For Construction

The U.S. Forest Service is closing part of the North Fork-Superior Road most of next week to allow for construction work.

Crews will be installing shallow fords on the road up through Black Canyon, north of Kelly Forks Work Center. The Black Canyon section of Road 250 begins about 80 miles northeast of Orofino and 40 miles southwest of Superior, Mont. Travelers use the route to reach Hoodoo Pass and Superior.
