Pacific Northwest Spj Winners
The following are the area winners of the 1997 Pacific Northwest Society of Professional Journalists Excellence in Journalism Contest. There were more than 2,200 entries submitted by newspapers, television and radio stations for the competition. The entries came from publications and stations representing the six SPJ chapters in Oregon, Washington, Alaska, Idaho and Montana.
