Equipment Stolen From Fire Truck
More than $10,000 in equipment was stolen from a Spokane fire truck Tuesday night, authorities said.
The thief or thieves cut through a chain-link fence at Pohl Spring Works in the Valley to get at the truck, which was in for repairs, said Rich Hansen, a fire department battalion chief.
The stolen items included self-contained breathing equipment used by firefighters, a portable radio, a chain saw, hoses, a large tarpaulin and miscellaneous tools.
Anyone with information on the theft or the stolen equipment is asked to call fire department investigators at 625-7052 or 625-7053.
