Ccs Dedicates Campus Building Today

From Staff

The Community Colleges of Spokane today will dedicate the Max M. Snyder District Administration Building on the north end of the Spokane Community College campus.

Although it’s been open for 26 years, the building recently was named after Snyder, who served as CCS president from 1976 to 1981. The building is located at 2000 N. Greene St.

Snyder will be honored at the dedication and reception, beginning at 1:30 p.m. The event is open to the public.

Only one other building in the CCS six-county district is named after an individual. The Walter S. Johnson Sports Center at SCC, which includes a community college swimming pool, is named after the CCS founding president.
